BRIDGE is a European Commission initiative which unites Horizon 2020 Smart Grid, Energy Storage, Islands, and Digitalisation Projects to create a structured view of cross-cutting issues which are encountered in the demonstration projects and may constitute an obstacle to innovation.
On March 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2021, the BRIDGE initiative held their annual General Assembly online, where the latest activities of the BRIDGE Working Groups and Task Forces were presented and new BRIDGE projects as well as results and lessons learned from ended projects were introduced. Several parallel session were held to strengthen the collaboration between projects and discuss about future BRIDGE topics in 2021.
The event attracted over 200 participants in the plenary and around 70 participants at each parallel session that gathered the 59 ongoing BRIDGE projects. 23 new projects were presented as well as the lessons learned from the 3 finalised ones. The sessions covered the work the BRIDGE working groups on Data Management, Regulation, Consumerand Citizen engagement and Business models as well as its Task Forces.
Our project project coordinator Hypertech Energy Labs introduced the project to the audience and our consortium member RINA Consulting presented the ACCEPT's innovative business model that we aim to develop within the project at the business model session.
